No matter how relaxed your hoped-for employer may appear, how you look does matter. Their HR department is looking for how serious you are about being hired, and what hiring you will look like 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Rehearse Questions and Answers
Write down what you anticipate the interview questions might be, and have some strong, succinct answers on the ready. Along with their questions and considerations about how you will fit in with their employees already in place, you have every right to ask them questions about the company, the environment, and the benefits. What might a day look like for you in the position you are applying for? Is there room for advancement? What was the reason for the prior position’s employee leaving the job?
